This documentary shows how our own people could turn so evil. An army man Timothy McVeigh turn into a domestic terrorist by murdering 168 people which included kids. This massacre occurs in April 19 1995 at Alfred P Murray Federal building in Oklahoma City. This specific date is on the anniversary of the people who die on Waco Texas who where part of this white supremacists group that heated the federal government. They allowed polygamy and the leader was treating to attack the federal government in so many ways. The cult had young teenage girls who got brain wash with this ideology of white race coming back. As this group was treating the government action was taken. The FBI had this plan of putting gas in the building to take out visibility and for them to capture the rest of them who where on the premises. But everything went down hill when it’s leader already pure gasoline in the whole building 76 people die including five young kids this occurred on April 19, 1993. For the white supremacists and Timothy McVeigh who was a witness of the Waco incident said that the police set fire to the building. Timothy was raised by his grandfather as a gun lover. He joined the army to pursue his passion of gun loving but after fighting in the Gulf war he was uneasy on killing innocent people. Then he went back to be a normal citizen and no one hire him then he took this searching soul trips where he went to gun shows and white supremacists who he felt as something in common for heating the federal government. He was at Waco selling stickers when he witnesses the fire. In his mind that was the last straw of the evil institutions of the federal government. In his mind he had to attack them back where it hurts the most with lives of people that are part of the institution. He created this bomb with fertilizer and other chemical as it described in the book The Turner Diaries which was his bible on overthrowing the government. In his mind he thought he was going to be the spark that will start a revolution. But instead nothing happen and he got people’s heat in return for murdering all those innocent people. Even though there was the office that sends the attack for Waco Texas in the building there were other office institutions and a daycare center. He didn’t feel any remorse and did such a horrific act. People could not belief that a USA citizen could do just that. He dies in 2001 on the lethal injection which was nothing compare what the victim suffer.

This documentary is about the massacre of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut. A psychopath gun fires in a middle school, causing the death of twenty children and six adults. The man who caused this monstrosity was Adam Lanza a twenty year old man who decided to kill all this innocents on December 14, 2012 the day of his birthday. Even president Obama broke into tears while giving the statement of what happen in Connecticut nationwide. He ordered to fly half the America flags all across the nation to honor and grief the little lives that were lost. The lowering of the flag made every one understand the tragedy that has occurred which affects every one of us. On that Friday all the Americans hearths grieved with condolences to those twenty parents who lost their little angels. This young adult was disturbed with the obsession of violence he clearly had a disorder. The parents didn’t exactly treat his sickness and didn’t give him the help he needed. This disturbed man before going to the elementary school he murdered his mom, then kill the twenty six victims and then committed suicide. All around his house he had a good amount of ammunition and the police found four guns in his possession. This film gives a look back on recent history. It shows the horror of what happened that day in multiple angles. It uses the interviews of the family and the images of a normal town. It also shows the heartache of the teachers from this school as everyday of their lives they have to deal with the fear that something like this will happen again. These teachers will never feel safe again as schools always had provided this safe environment for kids, but not anymore there is no place one could be really safe. The wonderful thing this filmmaker does is to represent the parents not as victims of a massacre but as heroes who will continue fight for the gun law policy to change. They are fighting to pass the law of before anyone getting a gun there should a background check and a psychological test to see if the person is mentally healthy to own a gun. Their not against guns but they want the law to be more diligent also to limit and lower the number of guns a person can own like one or two as the maximum.
The not wasteful society
Watching the film the gleaners makes one admired that in some countries they try to use everything instead of waiting it. The United States even though they recycled we through out a lot of stuff in the garbage specially food. Supper makers, schools, and households if the food might had expired only one day it’s bye bye to the garbage. Specially schools because the food gets inspected and they have a regulation one day expired it is garbage. Even kids eating lunch they are so picky in food that instead of giving it to the classmate the food they dislike they go and throw it in the garbage. Even though they have different stuff on the plate they see one thing they don’t like and the food becomes garbage material. Kids these days in the United States do not value food anymore they don’t take in consideration the cost of the parents working for it to feed them. Whose fault is it the whole culture fault everyone in this country is so waist full when it comes to food. It is because people will always have food they might not have shelter or cloths but always food. The government gives out food vouchers, schools gives food f or those who doesn’t have, and people volunteer to feed the homeless. Food it’s so easy to get in this nation that its value and meaning has been lost. Watching this film makes me happy to see that other countries are not as waist full when it comes to food. France has the law that allows people to glean especially in food so it does not go to waits. Farmers and supper markers let this people savior the food that people will not purchase because it doesn’t fallow certain guidelines. In Ecuador they have a supermarket and an open air market. The supermarket has everything and also food to purchase. In the open market also they have everything with the difference that the owner farmer or producer sells it but in a cheaper price than the supermarket. Also the open market doesn’t throw out food either gives out the food that is going bad to the people or they take it back to give it another use like to feed the animals. The supermarkets too in Ecuador don’t wait food at all. Sometimes when it is things that it’s expired one day they go in the clearance section after the merchandise is expired for three days it’s taken out of the clearance section and given out to the public before it becomes complete bad. In the United States they should allowed having an open maker on every neighborhood and few supermarkets. The open market the farmer would sell its on weird looking food at a cheaper price. As for the food regulation people should not worry because farmer fallow the law anyway to keep doing what he knows best to provide people with food. Also parents should teach their kids the value of food and how important it is not to waist it. Even make them think how lucky they are to have it as in other countries there is people who starve because food is scarce. This film makes one think that nothing should be waste everything should be giving a second life. Even humans after they dies are given a second life as they become part of the soil and become nutrients to new forms of life keeping the ecosystem in valence.
High school 1968 film Thoughts
Personally to me this film was the best documentary ever made about education. It capture the natural essence of individuals been part of the high school environment. The reality of education in that time was recorded in film. It kind of upsets me to see how well grounded the education was back then and how it has gotten worst nowadays. This film showed the connection of teachers and students how the educators become second parents demonstrating concern in shaping young adults for better life. It looks like they meddle in the students life so much but it did help them to understand types of manners society expects and different things they can become to contribute to the society they live in. They even had extracurricular classes like cooking and typing. Now because the public school lacks of funding the first things to cut down it school clubs and the arts. Now kids in these days are getting worst it does not matter if its high school lower grade schools are dealing with kids schools behaviors too. At the age of six kids call there teacher’s bitch well knowing what it means. Some of them even elementary grade age students are violent to the teacher and the teacher can’t not protect oneself can even throw a punch not even touch them. They have to let the kids or teenagers beat the crap out of them and the only thing they can do is write an accident report for the principal to pick the degree of punishment the kid can receive.
Today teachers have to be afraid of the kids so they don’t lose their job. They are so many laws that protect the children and I understand they should be. But the laws that protect children in the school environment should change. So many teachers end up losing their jobs unfairly due to child who is been malevolent and knows the law favors them. Principals in the public system are afraid of parents and they put more pressure in teachers just to please the parents. Now parents these days they relay too much in technology as a help to raising kids and that is why the child behavior worsens. There is lost of cases of children breaking tables or computers because the teachers didn’t allow them to use it went they ask for it. This is why teachers cant get too involve in students lives because they have to watch their back first, they are on their own and is so easy to lose their jobs. To me Frederick Wiseman observational documentary mode of a high school is magnificent. He should do his observational documentary of all public schools from k all the way to 12 grades without asking permission of principals. If he does that all the staff member would be aware of it and the documentary would be a fake as the film will show everything is okay when it is not. Teachers now they teach they don’t educate with knowledge and morals. Because that’s what the law and fear has reduced them to.
The thirst for Power
To me Triumph of the Will documentary promoted this sense of patriotism that the National Socialist German Workers party would bring Germany once again to its former glory. That the Versallies Treaty who the allied power made them sign and that made Germany weak. This film for the Germans was all about hope due to all a decade of suffering after WWI. Becoming part of the Nazi party meant to have many types of jobs, being army strong, and having food rations. This movie shows that this one man makes all come true as people solutes him as he goes around the old city of Germany. This film tells Germans that his Supreme Leader would bring Germany once again to prosperity. This is done with inspire speeches, the Nazi flag shown in every scene, and happy people shown all through out the film.
Why we fight documentary came out three years after WWII started in 1939. This movie tells the American viewers that some how we have to stop this three evil powers from the face of earth. If we don’t stop them they would rich their goal of becoming supreme leaders of this world. The geographical display of imperial expansion is amazing. The film demonstrates with map illustrations that Italy would be once again the Roman Empire, Japan and Germany will divide the rest of the countries equally. This film keeps showing war chaos, countless murder and blindly crowds of followers who adore these evils as gods. Then it brings this controversy of Americans debating if it’s a good idea of going into war. The film shows some protestors saying that we shouldn’t be involved they should solve it themselves. There were also interviews of Americans pro and against going into war. It was logical this film was made to persuade Americans to fight. Even though they went trough harsh years of the great depression until 1939 were the American economy started booming again. This was due to factories creating weapons of mass destruction giving unemployed people work.
Both of these films to me are both a representation of a huge thirst of power. Triumph of the Will gives this sense of the power they lost and they will regain. The film Why we fight to me its not about keeping freedom is more of maintaining the United States in power. In the film there is not a scene for us taking the blame of building those war weapons. The film persuaded fear and it made its objective of going to war. Since human kind there have been always wars and after the chaos a sense of peace and manufacture freedom comes.
MERMAIDS The body found

This is a documentary I saw in Discovery Channel one year ego even thought the documentary was made in 2012. I stumble on it days ego on You Tube. What is interesting about this documentary is the way it makes one think of life and the world. Through the deep investigation of scientists that worked for NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). In 2004 they where investigating the massive death of whales in Washington State on the Pacific Ocean shore. These scientists with bunch of test and cerebral tissue mass study determinate that the deaths of these mammals are due to the sonar blast and explosions under water made by the U.S Navy. Sonar blast are wave length like sound use to communicate from one ship to another. This type of vibrations can damage human lungs. In the case of whales and dolphins it led to straight hemorrhage on the brain, most of them were bleeding from the ears. They were able to find this by underwater recordings made while the navy was testing explosives and sonar blast. From these collective recordings they found sounds that whales and dolphins did not make. This unknown species had a different sound and the important piece was that they heard the same sound calibrated with twelve different pitches which showed this new species travel in herds. In South Africa they found this ocean life specimen that was hard to determinate which group it belongs to. After putting together the scarce peaces they came to the conclusion it was a mermaid. It’s our earliest ancestor the Australopithecus some of them use the oceans as resource of food that might be a reason they took the initiative of making the oceans their permanent home. This led them to evolve into mermaids, half fish and half human. They have this theory they are humans because next to the unknown specimen in Africa it was found this type of weapon like a fishing spear manufacture with bones of whales. Also there were records of couple of fisherman catching fish with bone blades already inside them. This documentary makes you belief that this mystical creature does really exits. It changes the whole view of life with the questioning of realism. What I just describe here does not cover everything that the documentary is about. It’s a most see documentary that changes your perspective of life itself even makes you think why is the U.S navy hiding this discovery.
